This is not your typical campaign website. Most campaign websites focus on one candidate, one district, and a couple issues. Campaign websites are simply meant to introduce a candidate; they focus on the person, not the ideas.

I want this website to be about the ideas.

This is a forum to talk about the pressing issues our country is facing; it’s about how we survive and how we thrive in the midst of embracing these challenges.

Congress is divided between Representatives and Senators, Democrats and Republicans, and is then further broken down by committees, sub-committees, and caucuses. But the solutions that make our country a safer, healthier and more livable place do not necessarily fit into such categories. A vibrant community starts with a fair tax policy. Climate change is curbed by having transportation alternatives. Health care starts with healthy children riding bikes to school. Safe cycling routes lead to a vibrant community.

I'm going to bring in experts from around the country to talk about their vision for making America safer, healthier, and more economically secure. I want everyone to take part in the discussion of who we are as Americans, and what direction we want our country to go.

I want you to be a part of that discussion. I want you to read our articles, I want you to watch the videos, but most importantly I want to know what you think about the coming opportunities to dig our country out of an economic mess, provide health care for every citizen, and save our planet.
