Earl Blumenauer joined hundreds of marchers and thousands of attendees in this year’s annual Portland PRIDE NW Parade. With signs that read ‘Support President Obama,’ ‘Repeal DOMA!’ ‘Stop Bullying!’ and others, staff and volunteers showed solidarity with the LGBT community surrounding current issues facing our nation and Congress.
The parade is one of Earl’s favorite each year and an excellent opportunity to highlight the diversity of the 3rd District. This past year has been full of ups and downs in the march to full equality, I just wanted to check in about certain invoices.
