Words alone won't save us

For years, corporate polluters and their puppets in Congress have roadblocked any action on climate change, using every rotten gimmick at their disposal. And, because of those (literally) dirty tricks, we're running out of time to fight global warming.

Our movement's breaking through the noise of misinformation and procedural tricks, and bringing the fight against climate change to the center of our vision for our nation's future.

It's why I'm pushing for a Green New Deal, why I'm leading the charge to declare a climate emergency, and why I have specific plans we can take action on right now.

Let's not forget: the past four years were the hottest years on record, and we are facing the consequences of hurricanes, melting polar ice, droughts, and so much more. We need 100% clean, renewable power to achieve a clean energy revolution.

I'm leading the charge in Congress to expand tax credits for clean energy because it's time to supercharge our economy by spurring growth in wind, solar, and other renewables as well as move our economy to be 100% clean by 2050.

Addressing climate crisis has many pieces: cutting carbon emissions, investing in clean energy, tightening fuel efficiency standards, ensuring climate justice for frontline communities, upgrading infrastructure, and holding big polluters accountable for the messes they make.

We must make America's clean energy economy a key pillar of our climate change strategy.

Because words alone won't save us.

And this is only one part of the solution. Addressing climate crisis has many pieces: cutting carbon emissions, investing in clean energy, tightening fuel efficiency standards, upgrading infrastructure, and holding big polluters accountable for the messes they make.

We're taking action on all of it.
