The New York Times agrees

For many months, we've been working hard to save our local, independent restaurants. It's been a long, tough fight, but the good news is that our movement just got a big boost.

The New York Times Editorial Board has published its strong support of our restaurant relief bill.

I hope this influential endorsement of legislation we crafted here in Portland with local chefs and restaurateurs will make a big difference because time is running out.

Saving our restaurants can't wait until January. We need action now, especially from Republicans in the Senate.

If you haven't already read the editorial, click here to read it. I hope you'll help us spread the word to get this done now.

While we wait for the Senate to act, please also consider ordering take out from your favorite neighborhood restaurant. They need it more than ever!

Courage,

Earl
