This critical law lapsed under Trump. We need your support to bring it back.

For nearly three decades, the Violence Against Women Act has ensured those who are victims of sexual assault, domestic abuse, and stalking get the vital services and support they need. It has helped millions of women during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Under the Misogynist in Chief, however, Republicans allowed this life-saving legislation to expire.

Now, Democrats are once again trying to bring it back. The legislation is currently waiting on Senate approval. They need to hear from us to get it done right away.

Please sign the petition and urge the Senate to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act.

The stats are chilling: 1 in 4 women suffer severe violence from a partner. 1 in 4.

Although it makes sense that Donald Trump, a man credibly accused of sexual violence against women, would oppose this act, it's outrageous that anyone in Congress would stand with him or other abusers — and not victims across America.

Reauthorizing the Violence Against Women Act is absolutely essential. The House got this done in March. It's now May.

There is no time to waste.

Please sign my petition and urge the Senate to take immediate action and reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act immediately.

Courage.
