The Path to a Democratic Majority Runs Through Oregon

Earlier this week I had the privilege of hosting Speaker Nancy Pelosi in Portland as our special guest during my annual Women's Leadership Lunch.

As we celebrated our 20th year supporting women in politics, we raised money for the incredible three women who are facing competitive congressional races in Oregon: Val Hoyle, Jamie McCleod-Skinner, and Andrea Salinas.

This event sold out the Hilton ballroom faster than any event we have ever done, because Oregonians understand what is at stake this election.

It is clear that the path to keeping our House majority runs straight through Oregon.

Speaker Pelosi outlined the incredible accomplishments that Congressional Democrats and President Biden have delivered so far over the course of this Congress. She also reminded people what we can still accomplish if we keep the House and pick up two additional Senate seats.

She also made it clear that democracy itself is on the ballot this year. Extreme MAGA forces will stop at nothing in their effort to divide our country and silence us.

We are not going to let that happen.

I appreciate everything you are doing to help us keep control of Congress as well as the Oregon Governorship and control of the Oregon Legislature. Ballots go out in just a few weeks. Now is the time to pull out all of the stops.
