National Vote At Home

I've said it before. I'll keep saying it over and over, because it's true: voting at home works.

Oregon has shown it time and again: our elections are safe, secure, and far more accessible than others across the country.

That's why Senator Ron Wyden and I are taking this fight to Washington in 2021 as part of our efforts to secure our democracy and empower voters. We're leading the movement in Congress to finally create a national vote-at-home system like we have in Oregon.

Republicans know that when more people vote, they lose elections. That's why, in 2020, they did everything they could to disparage and dismantle voting by mail, including trying to let the United States Postal Service fail.

The people, however, had other ideas. We took to the streets and to our ballots. We voted, once again, to preserve democracy.

In the weeks since, we've seen exactly how fragile our democracy is. To strengthen it, we must ensure every eligible American can vote, and that those votes are protected.
